Book bags bearing the school name and crest are available from Crawlers, and are very useful for carrying books, letters etc.

ALL items of clothing should be clearly labelled with your child’s name. Whilst every possible care is taken in school, children must be trained to look after their own belongings and the school cannot accept responsibility for lost of damaged clothing, jewellery or toys etc.

There is a “Lost Property” area in school which parents can check from time to time if their child has lost an item. Unlabelled, unclaimed items are disposed of if not claimed at the end of each half term.

Jewellery

The school complies with LEA Health and Safety legislation, therefore we would advise parents to remove all jewellery prior to arrival at school as necklaces, rings, watches and hooped earrings constitute a danger when children are at play and during PE sessions.

Attention is particularly drawn to earrings, which could catch upon anything. If your child already has pierced areas, they should wear small studs, but no hooped or drop earrings. Children will be asked to remove items of jewellery and place them in an envelope which will be returned to you.

Any loss or damage resulting from the wearing of these items cannot be regarded as the responsibility of the school or the Local Authority.
